I was treated quickly and informed about what was happening to me.
I felt that nursing staff were fully engaged with my care and sympathetic to my concerns.
I was told I was going to CRU step down ward, but this did not take place.
I'm not sure if this would have made my stay any different.

All the staff on Luccombe work as a team. I have not heard them talking negatively about each other at all. The staff act immediately when you ask for something. If I wanted pain relief or a bedpan they got them straight away. No response of "in a minute". The ward sister Heid, is jolly and cheerful but she is extremely professional. She is also visible working with her team. I would recommend Luccombe to anyone. You get great care.

I had really good care while I was on the ward. I was very grateful for the little red sock slippers, and the handy refreshing wipes. Very good idea.
